Bosnia Agile is a newly established association promoting agile methodologies in software development, agile project management and bringing together agile evangelists from Europe and wider. We are proud to announce its official beginning of the association activities with the Bosnia Agile Kickoff event.
Bosnia Agile Kickoff will take place in Hotel Sarajevo on March 22nd, 2014. On this one day event, participants will be able to attend a number of interesting lectures and workshops organized in two separate tracks.
The main objective is to popularize agile methodologies in project management and its processes, with special attention in software projects management. Participants will be offered an insight why agile is leading methodology used to exchange ideas and experiences among IT professionals.
Introductory lecture (keynote) will be held by Jurgen Appelo, author of the book Management 3.0: Leading Agile Developers, Developing Agile Leaders. Jurgen Appelo is author of the highly read blog http://www.noop.nl/, co-founder of associations Agile Lean Europe Network and the Stoos Network, a speaker at many conferences and one of the most influential agilist in the world. After this keynote, there will be a number of additional speakers and workshops, held by domestic and international experts in the field, like Ralph Jocham, the first European Scrum.org coach, Elizabeth Woodward, co-author of the book „A Practical Guide to Distributed Scrum“.
