In July, we continue with Mike Cohn's excellent book on Succeeding with Agile. We'll wrap up pilot projects and Scrum adoption methods (chapters 3-5) and forge ahead into the next part of the expedition (chapters 6-9), all about individuals and changes in attitudes. Jimmy Buffet may show up ;)
This next part covers resistance (and ways to overcome it), new roles, changed roles, and technical practices. Basically the "individuals and interactions" part of the Agile Manifesto.
Super simple agile book club steps:
1) RSVP and add to your calendar
2) Help us spread the word. Tell friends and colleagues (especially developers interested in Scrum)
3) Read what you can or what you care to read from our selection
4) Bring questions and quotes
Everyone is welcome. No need to read last month’s chapters to drop in on July 16th.
