Description

QWAN (Quality Without A Name) is an initiative of pragmatic practitioners. QWAN was founded in 2008 by Rob Westgeest of Westgeest Consultancy, Willem van den Ende of Living Software BV, and Marc Evers of Piecemeal Growth. Each of us has extensive hands-on experience in programming  as well as in moving teams forward to deliver software that matters, and do that soon and sustainable. We deliver courses, mentor on effective software development and carry out bespoke software development projects. Quality without A Name means that we strive for something elusive, which we can’t word exactly.

Our mission: we are uncovering better ways of delivering software, by developing software for our clients, by working with and in their development teams as coaches, mentors, project managers or developers. What we learn from our practice we use in our training and consulting.

What we do:
- Deliver courses tailored to your situation and needs, for developers as well as managers
- Coach and mentor your developers, managers and customers
- Carry out complete software development projects from start to finish, in case you don’t have developers of your own or if you are short of capacity.

Whether we train, coach or develop, we’ll sit with you, analyze your situation and find a solution that is tailored to your context. We prefer techniques from agile and lean software development (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, test driven development), and we always keep an eye on the goal: delivering software that adds value to the customer.
