(CSP-SM)

NextUp Solutions' Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM) course is an advanced program composed of independent assignments as well as a one-day live instructed class. Students will expand their Scrum Master and Agile coaching skillsets and confirm their deep understanding and experience with Agile methods and Lean thinking. The CSP-SM is the capstone credential in the Scrum Alliance Scrum Master track and opens the door to joining the Scrum Alliance Guide Community as a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Certified Team Coach (CTC), or Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC).

This course allows students to claim PMI® Professional Development Units (PDUs) that can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP®) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certifications.

Certification Prerequisites

Upon completion of the course, students will have an active CSP-SM certification as long as the student:

  • Holds an active Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification with the Scrum Alliance.
  • Validates at least 24 months of work experience specific to the role of Scrum Master (within the past five years).
  • Successfully completes our CSP-SM course.
